Peri-Peri Paneer Wrap made with Whole Wheat Roti is not just healthy but can be put together quickly and can make for a perfect tea-time snack/morning breakfast.
You only need 3 ingredients to make this easy, healthy and delicious recipe:
- Peri-Peri Paneer
- Green Chutney
- Whole Wheat Roti from Fresh Needs
Making Peri Peri Paneer:
Ingredients:
- Oil - 1 Tbsp
- 3 to 4 Cloves of Garlic chopped finely
- 1 Onion sliced
- Capsicum sliced
- 1 cup Paneer cut in cubes
- 2 to 3 Tbsp Peri-Peri Masala
- Salt to taste
- Black Pepper to taste
Recipe:
- Heat oil in a pan on medium flame
- Add Garlic and sliced Onion, stir and cook for 1 minute
- Add Capsicum and cook & stir for another 1 to 2 minutes (Don't overcook the Veggies, we want it to remain crunchy)
- Add Peri Peri masala, Salt, and Black Pepper. Mix well (you can adjust the quantity of masalas as per taste preference)
- Add the Paneer to the mix and gently mix well together. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes and turn off the flame
Making Green Chutney:
Ingredients:
- 1 cup tightly packed Coriander
- 2 to 3 chopped Green Chilies
- 2 to 3 Cloves of Garlic
- 2 to 3 Tbsp fried gram or roasted peanuts
- 1 Tsp Cumin
- 1/2 inch Ginger (optional)
- Salt to taste
- Few drops of lime juice
- 3 to 4 Tbsp Water for blending
Recipe:
- In a food processor, grind all the ingredients until it forms a smooth paste
- You can also add 2 Tbsp Mayo or Yoghurt to the Chutney to make it creamy
Making the Whole Wheat Wraps Base, ready in just 1 minute:
- We have used Whole Wheat Rotis from Fresh Needs for base
- Heat Tawa, cook Roti on Tawa on both sides for 20 seconds
- Put it on a flame to puff or make it as a Chapati by continuing cooking on Tawa
- Fresh and Warm Whole Wheat Rotis ready within no time
The final step, assembling the Whole Wheat Peri Peri Paneer Wrap:
- Place Whole Wheat Roti on a plate and put onion rings on the in the center of Roti in a straight line
- Add Peri Peri Paneer filling on top of onion rings
- Drizzle Green Chutney on top of the filling
- Roll it like a wrap and consume immediately
